Saxophone player best known as Palito Miranda. b. June 5, 1941 - Carapeguá, Paraguay. d. November 21, 2012 - Asunción, Paraguay. Initially played on Los Jokers, Orquesta de Papi Barreto. Then went to Brazil where played and recorded with Biriba Boys. After several years in Brazil returned to Paraguay where founded jazz groups (Palito Miranda y su Grupo; Asunción Jazz Quintet) and teached saxophone.
