Artist Portrait

Willy Ferrero

*1906 IT
Conductor of Classical

American conductor, born May 21,1906 in Portland, Oregon from Italian parents. He began his career surprising everyone by directing orchestral concerts at the age of six years. I was a very sensitive and elegant musician, preferred rhythmical motifs. He has the great merit of having approached the wider public to expressionism of Ravel. He died prematurely on March 23, 1954 in Rome, Italy.
