Rock
An Irish alternative rock band. In 1998, after their previous band, Kerbdog, broke up, Cormac Battle and Darragh Butler formed a new band, Wilt, along with a new bassist, Mick Murphy. They played their first gig at The Funnel in Dublin on 26 March 1998. Rock Sound magazine tipped them as being Ireland's version of Husker Du and Weezer. Released the albums 'Bastinado' in 2000 and 'My Medicine' in 2002 before breaking up and reforming Kerbdog. Wilt/Kerbdog frontman Cormac Battle now currently hosts a Sunday evening radio show on RTE 2FM.
