Winfried Toll

Singer / Composer / Conductor of Classical
German choral conductor and composer, born in 1955. Toll studied composition and music education at the Freiburg Conservatory of Music. Since 1988 he has been the conductor of the Camerata Vocale Freiburg and from 1994 to 2002 he was also the choral director of the Chor des Kölner Bach-Vereins. In 1997 Toll was appointed Professor of Choral Conducting at the Conservatory of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt/Main. Since 2007 he has been the Principal Artistic Director of the Daejeon Philharmonic Choir in South Korea. Toll is also a prize-winning composer.
