Single JM on Gorgon Records label
R&B/Soul
"I Don't Want To Go On" is a soul cover of the 1960's track "I Don't Want To Go On Without You", also recorded by The Searchers. The flip side "Groovin" is a soul cover of the 60's track. This side of the record bears no artist names, though it is assumed to be the same artist(s) as it has a similar sound. Exact years these versions were recorded is not stated on label though sounds 1970's / early 1980's. Label text reads: "Prod by Count Prince Miller. Publ by BMI. Distributed by Sonic Sounds, 25 Retirement Rd, Kingston 5, Tel: 926-1204-62036." Possible bootleg (verification required). Pressing appears to be low grade though plays OK.
