Band,
Rock, R&B/Soul and Blues
Wired Masses was a Detroit based rock band from 1992-2002. Wired Masses was formed in 1992 as an all original rock project. Combining the sounds from classic rock, blues, funk and pop, each song is a heartfelt force of its own, and was an example of the group's growth and inspiration. In the era of "metal hip-hop" and over-commercialized R&B, Wired Masses went their own direction. They brought back the showmanship that rock once purveyed. Wired Masses has released four albums of all original material. The first was a four song e.p. released in 1992. The second, an eclectic variation, was a full-length album titled "Buy Some Soul" (1994). The third, "Automatic Human Jukebox" (1996), was the first to actually capture the band's true essence. The fourth self titled release (2000) was a realization of the band's musical intentions. That plan was to tear down the wall between Rock and Soul. Each album showed the skill and growth of the band.
