The Woops was a group of four girls from Malmö: Laila Larsson (vcl/bs), Lisbeth Regnér (gtr), Mary-Ann Micha (gtr) and Agneta Engström (dms). Originally formed as the Black Cats in 1965, they managed to record just one song ("Why") during their couple of years' trip in the Swedish band-scene: an advertisement-EP of Metro-Club, produced by a clothing company Marty. The Woops performed lots of Tamla Motown-stuff, and at least Agneta Engström continued as a musician.
