Word2Soul was a music company (record label, production, publishing, songwriting, videos) based in Williamsport PA. It was created in 2000 by lyricist-songwriter Amy Mintzer, who brought on producer-singer-songwriter-musician Johnny J. Blair to finalize her musical ideas. Their collaboration was best described as "gospel rock," incorporating classic rock, pop, urban gospel, reggae, and Latin rock. They recorded between 2000 and 2005, yielding at least one CD ("like an Alan Parson Project for gospel singers" said Blair) and one video ("Even In The Night"). The company became an imprint for several artists, and at least three other artists have covered their material. The company has been inactive since 2010. Blair used Word2Soul publishing for his solo recordings until 2011.
