Red Oktober is related to the terrible and bloody events in Russia’s history – Great Oktober Revolution (1917) and the subsequent Civil War. So the music of that EP shows those dark, disturbing and depressive moods that are coming around the Russian society nowadays too… Red Oktober (Rumbadub) is a dub techno monster with dark swirling textures and deep stomping bass drum. Wood People (Acrobdub) with its breaky dub techno beats and subliminal harmony continues to build the pressure.
