The fifth title in the series “Swinging into the 21st”. Each of the eight CDs in the series consists solely of original music by Wynton Marsalis, and each is a different musical concept. Sweet Release: a ballet in five parts. Composed for the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Ghost Story: a ballet in eight parts. This release consists of key players from the LCJO. These are world premiere recordings of the two ballets, which both premiered live in New York City. For this recording 24-bit technology was used to maximize sound quality.
