Singer and flutist, born 31 August 1979 in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. Her childhood was bathed in music, from a family of musicians, she is the daughter of the great trombonist Jesus Aguaje Ramos, director of the Buena Vista Social Club. At the age of eight, she began to study classical flute at the conservatory. Graduated from the ENA (National School of Art) in 1994 in Havana, she decided to stay there to discover traditional Cuban folk music, feeling, jazz, rumba, Afro-Cuban music, "music from the street", she said. She joined the female septet "Sabor A Miel" and goes on international tour. Yaïté moved to Paris in 1998, where she quickly became one of the best Latin voices of the Parisian scene, she accompanied the pianist Alfredo Rodriguez and groups like Rumbanana, Paris Salsa All Stars, Solside, Mambí, Sabor A Son, among others. In 2004, she began her collaboration with the French salsa-muffin designer: Sergent Garcia, with whom she made a long international tour in 2005.
