Yang Fan (杨帆) met Wang Yue and Yi Lina in a bootlegs Store in Beijing when she asked them for a cigarette. They formed Hang On The Box and Yang Fan was the original drummer until Shen Jing joined. Yang Fan was the guitarist of Hang On The Box until 2003 after the release of the band second album. Yang Fan is now the guitarist and lead vocalist for Ourself Beside Me.
