Yanniv Gold Farb is playing music since he was 9 years old started in the local city March band on Drums and Trumpet and later on a guitar but just as a "bedroom player". When 15 he was a member in a metal band as a bass guitar player for 2 years, ended up warming the big English bands Exploited and Carcass and started to DJ in a commercial club when he was 18. Yanniv's Trance career began in the mid 90's, he started playing Goa Trance in local parties and organized some by himself in Israel and soon in Tokyo where he was living for a few years. In Tokyo Yanniv was a co-founder of Arcadia, a major productions company and music distribution- all dedicated to Trance music. As he left Arcadia in year 2000 and returned to his home country Israel, Yanniv started and ran his own label Bionics Records along with his own music creation under the name Onyx and many live shows and DJ sets all over the world. During the same years Yanniv has got his Sound Practical Engineering degree. The label was closed by Yanniv in 2005 and right after that he got signed in the famous music label Yoyo/ BNE where he also released his first album Groove On in June 2007. During the same years Yanniv organized many parties and was responsible for creating new style of clubbing in his country by running party lines in Luna & Ultrasound clubs for many years, combining Psy Trance with mainstream and Rock music- a formula to be copied by clubs until today. These days, after Yoyo/ BNE has closed doors, Yanniv is working on his next album and re-creating the new generation of Bionics Records along with his job as a mastering engineer at Domestic Studio's with Ido Ophir. Yanniv’s music is influenced from everything and anything. Each track is a new story and new structure built up on a massive rhythm and bass lines delivering to the listener different moods from deep and serious to high and fun!
