Yannis is a guitarist born in 1963 in Athens. At the age of 14 he participated in the group of Γιάννης Ρίτσος, Romiosini, playing bouzouki and touring all over the Greece. From 1988 till 1994 he works as a guitarist with great Greek singers, such as Άλκηστις Πρωτοψάλτη, Μανώλης Λιδάκης, Γιώργος Μαρίνος, Σταμάτης Κόκοτας and others. In 1995, through a common friend, he met Νίκος Καρβέλας and Anna Vissi. There begins a long term collaboration, with Yannis playing as a conductor of their shows, concerts and their discography. He played at the tours of Anna Vissi as a conductor, such as her concert at Madison Square Garden, at Royal Albert Hall and various shows globally. Their collaboration stopped in 2002, while Anna Vissi was playing at the theatrical play, entitled Mala; The Music of the Wind. Yannis made later some guest appearences at some concerts of Anna Vissi and their collaboration officialy ended in 2004. Among these years, he also collaborated as a conductor with Σάκης Ρουβάς, Στέλιος Διονυσίου, Καίτη Γαρμπή, Διονύσης Σχοινάς, Νίνο, Kωνσταντίνος Χριστοφόρου and others. He also played at the shows of Notis Sfakianakis, Χρήστος Δάντης, Γιώργος Μαζωνάκης, Helena Paparizou, Έλλη Κοκκίνου and Despina Vandi.
