Yas Clarke is a Bristol based sound artist and musician. interested in the human relationship to the natural world and the role that art has to play in our understanding of this relationship, or more specifically the idea that art is this relationship. A lot of his work is in collaboration with performance makers and choreographers. Recent research is around reflecting the continuity of space between the classifications of "human" and "natural". Why do we distinguish ourselves from nature and what are the outcomes of doing so? I've been creating processes that explore the boundaries between organic and synthetic; human and natural; continuous and discrete.
