Norwegian band. Progressive, sweaty and fat are the key words for this quartet established musicians who gather their forces in the band, Yearstones. Yearstones puts itself in a progressive musical landscape of 70's Prog/Hard Rock (Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Jethro Tull, etc.), Neo - Prog (Marillion, Camel, Kansas) and of course a pinch of "power " in the music á la Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath. It is all topped with a personal "touch" of each musician in the band that creates their own Yearstones sound, which characteristics are heavy, catchy, complex, sweating, melody, riff, synth, organ, guitar, groovy drums... Yes, most fans of progressive rock and music in general will be able to find comfort listening to. Enjoy!
