Liner Notes: total time 79:24 © yellow6 2015 Written and recorded during 2015, some of this music came about during rehearsals for the 2 live shows of the year. Some didn't make the final cut of No Memories, Only Photographs, and others were written as time became short and I needed material for this (and was avoiding using a live recording as I had last year). Aside from a couple of drum loops each song was recorded as a single multi-track take. There's a few overdubs of bass, piano and drum beats but that's all. All this is mostly loop based music, there is usually a starting loop as the foundation on which the other layers are built. At some time this loop will disappear and be replaced by others. photographs (taken at the Church of Sound. Nottingham. September 2015) Thanks to Catherine (29), Sky, Brian John Mitchell, Jon and Sooz, Jez Creek, Gavin, Jack, Randy, Fraser, Dave E and everyone who continues to support me in this ongoing obsession. Often a title comes to mind, and later i have no clue where it cam from or what it means. Two Kinds Of People is one of those. My first live show of the year as at the Sound Pilgrim's event. For this I wrote some new material including Circular (called Circulation at the time). I didn't record it until 6 months later. The first two versions I wasn't happy with....here's #3. For my second live show, I worked up this version of The Fifth (from No Memories, Only Photographs) but without drums. This is the rehearsal recording, using a guitar loop as the basis. Summers Past, an alternate version of a track from No Memories, Only Photographs. This one lost out to the other version for the album. On Disc: Merry6mas2105 125 copies in hand-sprayed card sleeve with two printed inserts
