Multi-instrumentalist Yoggyone touched down on the international stage in 2008, with his first record on Ekektik, the aptly titled «Preparation». Shortly thereafter, «Yoggyone and Friends» delivered a rich palette of collaborative pieces, featuring artists such as Devonwho (US), Ichiro (JP), Ad Bourke (It), among others... The album «Canopée» made a solid impact in 2012, with its sensitive balance of atmoshperes, melodies, beats, acoustic and electronic sounds, taking us into new depths of chunky, crunchy, soul... layered with organic, percussive beats and pulses. A limited seven-inch single, «Windeed» was released soon after, accelerating the flow with lush pop harmonies. A strong passion for synthesizers has kept him busy in the workshop, whether repairing or customizing his collection of analog and digital machines and, In 2013, he finally found more time to play and explore a wider range of sonar possibilities. A number of remixes (Molo, NSTBK and Uku) have already surfaced this year, and an Ep with New York vocalist Muhsinah is also in the works, and this single marks another turning point in Yoggyone’s singular sound, setting the foundation for his second album, set for release end of 2014.
