Yosef Hadar (26 December 1926 - 26 August 2006) was an Israeli composer and songwriter. Most of the well known Israeli childrens' songs of the 1960's were recorded by Hadar with the help of Hed Arzi Records. Some of Hadar's compositions have become established folk songs and constitute the core of the popular Israeli music genre. In 1990, Hadar won the ACUM 'Golden Feather' award for Lifetime Achievement.
