Producer of Hip-Hop/Rap, Electronic and R&B/Soul

Young Pulse is a Parisian DJ, producer, remixer and sound engineer. He is recognized for his authentic style mixing disco, nu-disco and house. The quality of his productions, reworks and remixes, are approved and played by many international DJs such us The Reflex, Late Nite Tuff Guy, Opolopo, Greg Wilson, Jay Negron, Mad Mats, Little Louie Vega (...), as well as play listed on great audience musical blogs, among them, 22tracks, House Of Disco. In 2010, after having maintained his notoriety as hip-hop producer (Institubes, Sony, Universal), Pulse meet the American pianist and jazz superstar, Marcus Johnson (10). Together, they decide to collaborate and create the JURIS duo. Young ends up moving to the USA to develop this DJ – keyboard combination. The euro-jazz is then born mixing their electro, hip-hop and jazz influences. They carry out several projects and release in September 2013 their LP «Eiffel Tower», reaching instantly smooth jazz category billboard charts. Their launch at the Silver Spring Jazz Festival is a total success with a 25.000 persons standing ovation. Working daily with American artists and legendary musicians, Pulse re-discovered the groove and then chooses to devote himself to feed his soul culture, funk, and disco. Thus, in 2013, he began the realization of remixes inspired by classic 70s. These are quickly acclaimed and distinguished by the infallible style musical arrangements he brings. Noticed and distributed by unavoidable labels like Tokyo Dawn Records, Midnight Riot, or even, G.A.M.M., his projects are placed regularly in top of the disco and nu-disco styles charts, proving the effectiveness of its remixes in DJ’s community and this genre fans. Back in France, Pulse just finished his next EP of reworks, «Young Pulse: Paris Edits vol. 2», international release in vinyl and digital is scheduled beginning of 2015 by G.A.M.M.. First volume «Young Pulse: Paris Edits vol. 1», launched by this same label in 2014, was a great success and placed as number 1 in the nu-disco single charts on junodownload.com for 2 consecutive months.
