A.k.a. Youri Parker
Youri started spinning in 1992. In 1995, after playing several years at different parties in Belgium, he was asked to play at the legendary Cherry Moon. After this gig Cherry Moon asked him to be a resident alongside Yves Deruyter. During his residency he played with some of the biggest names from the scene, such as Carl Cox, Sven Väth, Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Ken Ishii and Robert Armani. In 1996, he was asked to play at MAYDAY (Germany) where he preformed before a crowd of twenty-five thousand - the largest of his career at that point. He later played for I LOVE TECHNO and AXION BEACH ROCK. He then started to focus more on his residency at Cherry Moon. He created various compilations for the club, released some records, and helped Cherry Moon's events to grow. After 10 years of residency, the club closed. When this happened, he started his own record label: Graphite Records. He hooked up with Fred Baker for the label's first Release: BANG. The track was placed by DJ Preach at the top spot of his chart and Judge Jules and Eddie Halliwell played it at BBC1.
