With these sounds, I share my love of listening and relationship to Empty Spaces - uncrowded, sacred places to be, perhaps to drop out of the hurried game of modern life. These improvisational performances were tracked mostly live, with all their imperfections and inspirations. The sonic palette for this album started with processed recordings of a church, lake, forest trail, a temple... I cherish every album for its own reasons, yet this one feels like the deepest, most intimate one I've created. There's a texture, richness and gnarl about this recording that feels just right. Having made a personal commitment to communicate using sound, the "no more words" ethos has become a transformative way of sharing these ideas with you. I hope this music helps you along your path, and I love you.
