Musician / Composer of Jazz
Saxophone player and composer from the Netherlands. He was born in Hilversum on July 6, 1965. Yuri started his Trio in 1990, with Tony Overwater and Joost Lijbaart. Since then, he has played with many different artists in many different ensembles. He received an Edison Award in 2001 for the CD 'Seven', which he recorded with Paul Bley, Gary Peacock and Paul Motian.
