Single US 1983 on Target Video label
Electronic (Industrial, Experimental)
"This is the first video to be released of Zev's work. With shows from the notorious "Mabuhay Gardens" (1978) opening for The Screamers and The Mutants, Target Video believes Zev is one of the most unique and important artist of this century. Zev is a percussionist who uses found objects such as metal and plastic tubes, pans, bottles, chains, springs, bars of steel,, sheets of metal etc. which are hurtled, beaten with mallets or sticks, orchestrated for contrasts and crescendos of rhythmic noise, at times dangerous to the performer and audience alike. Other performances included on this tape are "Live at the University of London," opening for Bauhaus, "Live at Target," the first Video Album released by Target Video (1979), "The Farm" performance, and the legendary "Target After Hours" events in 1980. This videotape must be played at high volume for leveling houses. 60 Min. Color - Supersound Available in VHS and BETA Format. copyright Joe Rees, Target Video graphics: Joe Target, pebe special thanks to A SECTION EIGHT
