Zé Eduardo is a Portuguese jazz musician and composer, his instrument of choice is the double bass, he is also a music teacher, having taught such musicians as Bernardo Sassetti and Maria João. He has recorded and played with various musicians like Mário Laginha, Jack Walrath, Rão Kyao, José Afonso, Sérgio Godinho, Fausto, Júlio Pereira, Adriano Correia de Oliveira, Pedro Barroso, Paulo de Carvalho, Fernando Tordo, Carlos Mendes and Carlos do Carmo. He has a Guinnes World Record for playing the longest blues song, on a straight 24 hour session, on 22 of June 1988.
