ZAPPATiKA play their own compositions with some very strong influences from Rock-composer Frank Zappa. The band has also performed many full-on Frank Zappa Tribute shows playing a wide variety of his material since 2008. Formed by former drummer, BATTA-TUTT & vocalist/guitarist ZAP MCiNNES in 2007-2008, the band has gone through various line ups since then, ranging from 5 – 12 players at any given time. They have toured in various European countries with their live show which often lasts up to 3 hours and to date,Dec.2011, they have produced 2 albums - The Short but Legendary Flight of the Dodo (2009) Strictly Frankly - a live tribute to Mr Frank Zappa (2011) The band comprises of 6 members - Zomby Woof on Guitars and vocals, Bongo Fury (Hieronymus) on Percussion, Synth & vocals KE on Violin & vocals The Kid (Son of Joep Oosterbaan) on Bass guitar and vocals McInnes - Guitars & vocals Battatutti - Drums & vocals
