Czech lyricist, librettist, script writer, in his youth also actor and vocalist. Born January 7, 1932 in Prague (former Czechoslovakia), died February 18, 2001 in Prague (Czech Republic). Father of Lucie Stropnická. Considered the first professional Czechoslovak pop lyricist.
