Singapore singer who was born in North China, but started her career as a performer in Singapore with the Shen Chang Fu Circus in 1946. Later appeared in various movies including "Selamat Tinggal Kekasihku" [Goodbye My Love], a 1955 Malay film made by the Cathay-Keris Company. Later produced her own film "My Love In Malaya" in 1960 which won best film at the Malay Film Awards. Also worked in Hong Kong.
