A.k.a. Najbolji Hrvatski Tamburaši
“Zlatni dukati” today “Najbolji hrvatski tamburaši” are a vocal-instrumental-tambura ensemble (long-necked plucked lute / a stringed instrument) which musical beginnings date far back to the year 1983 with their 1st studio album “Ni sokaci nisu što su nekad bili”. Today this particular album is considered to mark the "Zero Hour" in relation to Croatian music releases outside the former Yugoslavia context (released by Jugoton Records). At that time "Zlatni dukati" were: Zoran Bucković - Tambura, primary Stanko Šarić - Bass, prim. Zdravko Šljivac - Bass, prim. Željko Miloš (Jinx) - Violoncello Mario Pleše - Double Bass Mato Lukačević - Bass Marijan Majdak - Vocals In June 2007 the ensemble celebrated its 20th anniversary.
