Zuzanna Małgorzata Budzyńska was born on September 11, 1997 in Radzyń Podlaski, Poland. She graduated with distinctions from the Zenon Brzewski School of Music in Warsaw in 2016, where she studied with prof. A. Gębski and D. Smolarski. In her senior year, she obtained a 5.86 GPA, including a 6.0 GPA from musical subjects, and two Excellent marks from both the final exams. Currently, she is a student of prof. A. Gębski and A. Szymczewska at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. She is also a student of chamber music classes of dr W. Koprowski (Meccore String Quartet) and prof. K. Makowska-Ławrynowicz. She is a prize winner of many international and national solo and chamber music competitions, such as International Juliusz Zarębski Music Competition, International G. Ph. Telemann Violin Competition, International Chamber Tournament – string quartet, Bydgoszcz, “Violin Talents” Competition in Poznań, and more. In 2017 Zuzanna became the winner of the Societe Generale Bank Scholarship, which allowed her to record her first CD, which contains the most beautiful polonaises for violin and piano in the output of polish composers. Apart from that, Zuzanna is a Harvard Club of Poland member and the holder of the Main Prize of the prestigious 6. “Path to Harvard” competition, which allowed her to take classes at universities such as Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, Yale University or Juilliard School (USA). She is an active soloist and chamber musician. She gave concerts with Sinfonietta of the Warsaw Chamber Opera, Płocka Symphonic Orchestra and the Zenon Brzewski Warsaw String Orchestra. She performed with many renowned polish artists. She is a member of the Warsaw String Players ensemble, which is led by Janusz Wawrowski.
