amplis begins in 2011 when Shaman Herrera (Sr. Tomate) and Lucas Borthiry (La Patrulla Espacial) come together to play with some effects pedals and a pair amplifiers. The feedback of the amps through different dynamic and space processes gender new sounds for experimentation. From there Tulio Simeoni (La Patrulla Espacial) and Eduardo Morote (Sr. Tomate) added in the two drums set. A few days before their first improvisation recording, Ricardo Baldoni (NormA (2)) add with a moog and Gualberto de Orta (NormA (2)) with other feedback'amp. The result of that first meeting is the birth of amplis.
