Bass is main instrument, but formerly a guitarist and banjo player. Formed MILKWEED together with Gregg Porter and Zev Hardman in 1993. Also a former member of Tigersaw and The Underpainting, Brian Michael Roff and the Deer, Jason Anderson and the Best. Currently touring with Strand of Oaks and performing with his own band, Buco Nero with Gregg Porter and Nate Groth. Ran a small studio out of the Doyle Estate in Leominster, Massachusetts where he recorded with Nat Baldwin, Casey Dienel, Jason Anderson, Tigersaw, Christians and Lions, Sam Rosen and the Look South, Guy Capecelatro III, The Estate Collective, Lindsay Vandermark, and more.
