Basilar Records first release comes from Diarmo and commences with the title track, 'Amber', bringing light, floating, almost haunting pads, before squelchy synths creep in, while crisp handclaps move things along smoothly. Next up and also contributing to the 'floor the melodic and minimalist 'Its cold inside'. 'Suitable for…' brings the tone down several octaves, with delicately structured melodies, over a unrestrained groove. Amber EP has a well structured smoothness and Diarmo has taken a minimalistic approach to this emotive three-track release. released February 13, 2012
