OM was an annual three-day outdoor party but not your average rave. There was an emphasis on ecology, volunteerism and spirituality as well as the music, dancing and art. We played, under an uncertain sky, for the still-wide-eyed detritus of the night celebration, for the Larks (the morning people), for the landscape and for the dreaming dancers, tucked in their tents around us. Gazing across the park at walls of rusted vehicles, the legacy of years of demolition derbies on the grounds, we began our sound journey - striving to leave behind the fields we know, to enter some parallel world just beyond. This album is a record of that journey.
