eddie135 is a French experimental electronics duo, based in Paris and formed in 2005 by Adrien Kanter and Matthieu Philippe de L'Isle. Playing largely improvised music, the group uses a wide array of instruments and tools, such as drum machines, synthesizers, microphones, mixers, tapes, guitars and numerous effects. In 2008, eddie135 released their debut cassette album, Nixon Now ! The group had been touring in Portugal, Japan, Germany, England, and France. After Andrien and Matthieu met James Ogilvie, also known as The Shitblaster, in London, they recorded a jam session together, released as The Dragon's Teeth album in 2017. The duo had been collaborating live and in studio with many notable musicians and bands, including Noël Akchoté, Quentin Dubost, Robert Engelbrecht and The Nelly Boyd Ensemble, Jean-Marc Foussat, Didier Greiner, Jean-Luc Guionnet, Shinichi Isohata, Helge Meyer, Jérôme Noetinger, Tim Olive, Laurent Pascal (2), Carol Robinson, Julien Skrobek, Go Tsushima & Psychedelic Desert, Dan Warburton, Take, Soopa Server, Manuela Barille, and Masahiro Kamihatsubo.
