Album UK 2013 on Queering The Black Circle label
Jazz (Free Improvisation)
from the release Notes: i began this album a few weeks ago to document my memories of a woman i once knew (her name has been shortened to 'l' to keep her anonymity) and the stories i have chosen have been in the press during that time. this album uses hymns associated with funerals not to offer up a religious understanding of the subject but because it allows us to share in a (for the christian west anyway) communal experience of grief. included with the download are two pdfs giving back stories to tracks two and three.
