Skabuoy started his musical career in 2004, when he was invited to deejay at a Ska concert in a youth center. Shortly after, he was asked to help form Off-Topic. He stayed in that band until early 2012, when the band went on an indefinite hiatus after both the drummer and the guitar player left. From July 2015, until its disbanding on 31 January 2017, he played in Amsterdam-based Reggae band Mighty Mama. He is occasionally still deejaying on the side, whenever asked.
