A.k.a. Lysergic Duke
The second longest-serving member of Hawkwind, Alan Davey (born 1963, England) was recruited by Dave Brock in 1984. He would go on to play and record with the band for 22 years, during which he also contributed to Bedouin and black metal band The Meads Of Asphodel. Davey left the band in June 2007 and now concentrates on a variety of his own projects.
