Soul-boogie singer - songwriter who hails from Los Angeles. Upon entry into college, he continued his study of music. majoring in music at the Los Angeles Community College where he also became a pitcher on the college's baseball team. After achieving such honors as Most Valuable Player (MVP) on his college baseball team, alfonzo was drafted and offered a contract to play for the San Francisco Giant's' professional baseball organization. Faced with the choice of whether to play baseball professionally or continue his musical career, he chose his first love⎯music. He had three hits in 1983 - "Girl, You Are The One", "Change The World" and "Your Booty Makes Me Moody".
