Band, 2001-2001 US, New York City Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B/Soul and Pop A.k.a. Artists Against AIDS Worldwide
On the 5-7 September 2001, 44 artists met together in New York to re-record Marvin Gaye's classic song "What's Going On." On the day of September 11th, the artist felt compelled to recognize the victims of more than 60 nations and their loved ones as well.
The money raised from the EP's sold was intended to benefit the following organizations:
- The September 11th Fund of the United Way
- Artists Against AIDS Worldwide
- The Global AIDS Alliance
- And other organizations
