Band,
Rock and Pop
Band formed in 1982 by John Parish and Rob Ellis. Automatic Dlamini's story is complex, due to many changes in the band's line-up. Through the years, members included Jamie Anderson, Andy Henderson, Giles Smith, Ian Olliver, Jeremy Hogg, PJ Harvey... They released their first record in 1986 (The Crazy Supper EP), and their first album in 1987 (The D Is For Drum). In 1989-90 they recorded their second album (Here Catch, Shouted His Father). The record was never released but has been much bootlegged. Automatic Dlamini split in 1992 after releasing the album 'From A Diva To A Diver'.
