Bass Communion
II/III

Compil. US 2008 on Beta-lactam Ring Records label
Electronic (Ambient)

Discs housed combined in Japanese style mini LP gatefold sleeve. First edition of 1200 copies. Barcode sticker with inscription: Bass Communion "II/lll", "ll" Finds it's eclipses crossing long, glowering belts of ambience and majestic rings of thick, bass-heavy electro-pulses. Miniature terrestrials appear as stringed acoustic and other earth-bound instrumentation peeks up through the crackling electronic mists. Hardly a truer music of the spheres, but then there is still the brother to contend with. "III's" Lustmord for Global Communication moans out in a series of lonely alien drones. As it's Orb's Orbitals draw circles near the light-hemorrhaged Cygnus X-1, devastating dub destruction launches this little craft, well beyond the infinite, clothing in the flesh of gods. Don't worry the good ship lands safely, but is, much like the listener, forever altered. First Ed. of 1200 copies." "A Grapefruit In The World Of Park" contains a 15 second sample of Robert Fripp. This remastered version features a slightly longer version of "Reformat Spiders". Bass Communion II (in this form previously released in 2002 by Headphone Dust, originally as a 2CD set with additional track in 1999 by Hidden Art) recorded at No-Man's Land in 1998 and published by Zomba Music Publishing Ltd., except title 6 published by Zomba Music Publishing Ltd. / Copyright Control. Bass Communion III originally released as an on-demand CDr by Burning Shed in 2001 - all titles published by Hand's Off It's Mine Publishing Ltd. The copyright in this sound recording is owned by Bass Communion under exclusive licence to Beta-lactam Ring Records.
