Album US 1993 on Aircheck Records label
Jazz (Big Band, Swing)
Two extremely rare broadcasts of the Benny Goodman Orchestra working live from the Peacock Court of the Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco, California during the heyday of the big band era. Somehow these broadcasts have survived and we are fortunate to be able to hear Benny, Charlie Christian, Ziggy Elman, Lionel Hampton and the rest at their best. An added attraction to this LP are three selections from the August 10, 1942 broadcast of "Bond Wagon" from The Chicago Theater in Chicago, Illinois.
