Band, 1967-1968 FI, Helsinki
Rock
Blues Section was a Finnish rock group that was active only for a year in 1967-1968, but it is considered to be a pioneer in Finnish rock. The band started with rhythm'n'blues but changed their style towards blues-jazz and psychedelic rock. They released one album in November 1967. Two legendary Finnish progressive rock groups were founded in 1969 from the remains of Blues Section: Wigwam (3) and Tasavallan Presidentti.
