Jazz (Bop)
On Front : FPX 123 Ⓢ Columbia Jazz Stars Séries On Back : Les Industries Musicales Et Electriques Pathe-Marconi - Paris Made In France Carron & Fils - Lyon On Label : Made In France New York, 12th and 14th November 1956 Note: A Dutch -most probably 1957- release on heavy, almost shellac-like vinyl, has exactly the same Matrix/Runout #s as this French release. On the rear of the sleeve however the track lists are inverted: "Clarinescapade" to "I Remember You" here belong to "Kant 1" (Side 1, XLX 563), "Wee Dot" to "They Look Alike" to "Kant 2" (Side 2, XLX 564). Although the album title is also "Bobby Jaspar Quintet", only the four members of the Quartet (Jaspar, Flanagan, Totah and Jones) are mentioned on the back of the sleeve. The front of the austere sleeve (blue and black print on a plain white background) also mentions the title tracks as above.
