Album PT 2002 on Hiberica label
Rock (Black Metal)
The Present Trauma "These two tracks show the present work of Corpus Christii. They follow no previous lines, just pure Brutality and Blasphemy. We never worried if what we are doing is much different from our previous work. What comes out is what we do, and what is it." The Past Will Forever Reign "We wanted to cover Kreator and Celtic frost look like, but this track of DarkThrone is complete Celtic frost look alike, so we decided to do things this way. We had the special collaboration of Ainvar from Storm Legion to do the lead guitars on this DarkThrone cover. Some people may think that these bands have nothing to do with Black Metal, but that is so untrue. The first albums of these bands influenced all the Real and Dedicated bands throughout the World. The Past Will forever Reign, don't ever forget that." The Past Trauma "We chose these tracks because first of all, "Rape, Torture & Death" is a part of our demo, and only a few have that limited release, so we thought about re-recording it and "see" how it would sound nowadays with a different recording style. We re-recorded "Vistoria Cruenta" as well, maybe because it is one of the best five tracks we have in our first CD "Saeculum Domini", we've shorten it a bit and played it a bit faster." The Lusitanian Pride This part was very difficult for us, because we didn't knew what to cover from the Lusitanian Lands, but fast we decided to do "Fuck Your God" from Decayed because it's the oldest Black Metal band in Portugal, and this track is killer. We decided to do a straight version of it, with no effects and stuff like the original track. J.A. from Decayed plays the lead guitar on it. It was a very special participation of his. We had to do Celtic Dance, because this track has "followed" us through the years, We had spacial collaboration of Conqueror (the original vox of Celtic Dance) to do the vocals. I did some vocals as well." The Distorted Pain Of The Future "What can be said about these tracks...we "had" to do it. There are no limits in Corpus Christii, so it was a natural process to do theses tracks. They show a different side of this band. I think the final result os very "effective" and we will probably repeat this kind og experience in the future. A different way to close this "Chapter Produced and mixed from October 2001 until May 2002; "In League With Black Metal" is a tribute to all those who keep the flame of Satan burning high in the underground black metal scene. Ave Satanas! Corpus Christii supports the S.A.T.H.R. movement.
