Became DFS (or D.F.S.) in early Y2K. First "solo" project of Lx W. after various band attempts in the mid-1980s. First single released in 1988. First full-length album released in 1989. Joined by percussionist/rhythmic operator Simon Sinistar in 1991. Joined by guitarist/synthesist Nicholas Marker in 1991. Joined by synthesist Atmospheh-Rhycxx in 1994. Performed a handful of live performances in the early-mid 1990s. Nicholas Marker left the project in the mid-late 90s to pursue other careers. Simon Sinistar left the project in the late 90s to pursue other careers. Amospheh-Rhycxx left the project in the early Y2K to pursue other projects. DFS as "solo" Lx Wheill returned in the late Y2K to explore more rhythm-based electronic technoise mutations. Performed sporadically and without promotion in 2011 and 2012, leading up to the various releases on Wreck Age recordings and online streaming.
