Album 1995 on Moonlight label
Rock
Excellent soundboard recording of Eric's return to the historic Fillmore in San Francisco during his 1994 "From The Cradle" blues tour. Clapton had not played at the Fillmore since the days of Cream. This is the first night of his three night stand (Nov 7-8-9, 1994). Other musicians: Andy Fairweather-Low (guitar), Dave Bronze (bass), Andy Newmark (drums), Jerry Portnoy (harmonica), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Simon Clarke (sax), Tim Sanders (sax), Roddy Lorimer (trumpet). Source: Soundtrack of a rehearsal video shoot by Martin Scorcese prior to filming the documentary "Nothing But The Blues" on the two final nights. The documentary was broadcast once on PBS in America but the planned home video was never released.
