A.k.a. Евгений Куковеров
Eugeny Kukoverov (b. 1984) is a Russian musician and conceptual artist, one half of art-group EliKuka, member of I.H.N.A.B.T.B. and PFKB. He graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute and works in Moscow. In 2004, Evgeny became one of the founding members of I.H.N.A.B.T.B. (I Have Not Any Breakfast Today Bitch) experimental art-punk band. Kukoverov formed an art-group EliKuka with Oleg Eliseev in 2007. The name of the group is formed by the first letters of founders’ surnames, but in Russian it also means 'ели Кука' (had been eating [James] Cook). Oleg and Evgeny had been mentored by Soviet "new wave" veterans Georgy Ostretsov and Georgy Litichevsky. They work with different media, from paintings to installations and performances. EliKuka presented a number of personal exhibitions in Moscow, London, and Paris; participated in such projects, as Russian Lettrism (Русский леттризм) at New Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow and Relative Connections (Относительные связи) in St Petersburg. Kukoverov started collaborating with Red Brigades Punk Formation since he mixed their debut album. He became de-facto the fifth member of the band, responsible for all studio recordings. Name variations: Evgeny Kukoverov, John Kukoverov
