A.k.a. Frank Zen Minimal Frank
Influenced by the noise scene of the 1990s tape culture, Frank Zen began recording as Flesh For Frank in the early Y2K after his first unreleased 4-track EP under the name Brain Piss was never released. He recorded dozens of noise pieces throughout the years before unleashing his first official full length CDr release "Computer Generated Shit Noise Attack" on Wreck Age Recordings in 2007, which was already a departure from his noise works up until that point, as a handful of international underground and independant noise compilations have testified to. He quickly released "Raw" in 2008 for Brown Coffee Recordings, as well as recorded a few yet unreleased full length albums such as "Junk Noise" (parts 1 and 2), and "The CHRNX Sessions", which was recorded and mangled/processed in under 24 hours and is available for streaming online at his Soundcloud page. Flesh For Frank creates dense noisescapes as well as seemingly impenetrable intense noise, often contructed with a clear flight plan prior to actual composition, effectively crafting an almost "song"-oriented noise piece. He follows no trends, has tremendous influences ranging from a myriad of musical and anti-establishement artists which greatly affect the way he refuses to conform to any fad, style, current movements or other trappings of the modern musical industry.
